Filmmaker and historian Chandraprakash Dwivedi is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’. Akshay KumarHe says he lived with the story for 18 years before deciding to make it entertaining on the big screen with Aditya Chopra, head of Yash Raj Films.
Dwivedi said: “‘Prithviraj’ is my dream project. It is a script that I have developed for a long, long time, as it required extensive research work before I could make a film on this mighty and great king.

“To be precise, Prithviraj’s final research took me about six months to be completely satisfied that every single fact was checked multiple times.”
He further added, “I read many books on his life to ensure justice to Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in my film. Today, I am deeply satisfied as a writer and filmmaker that I have made my dream come true before It’s time taken. There is no emperor like ‘Prithviraj’ in our history and I hope our film will be a fitting tribute to his valor and generous lifestyle.”
