Alia Bhatt takes it up a notch and dishes out an amazing traditional look from Day 2 of the event
The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani, son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, are being held in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1-3. Celebrated names from all walks of life, starting from the world of sports to films to tech, are in attendance at these events. Alia Bhatt has graced the event too and netizens are completely obsessed with the sartorial choices she has been making.

The actress opted for a beautiful ensemble from the shelves of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The designer duo took to Instagram to share Alia’s outfit details. In the caption they mentioned, “Her net lehenga features a feast of details in gold embroidery adorned with sequins. Paired with a matching scallop-edged blouse, the silhouette has a fully embroidered net dupatta surrounded by handmade ‘Kuran’ lace that takes one year to make.”
The golden embroidery work on the lehenga was absolutely exquisite and sequin treadwork was subtle and striking at the very same time. Alia in shades of gold looked regal and opulent. The beautiful cut of her blouse and the flow of the lehenga is noteworthy and the net dupatta just looked dreamy and lovely on her. Alia’s net dupatta featured ‘kuran’ lacework which as the designer duo mentioned “takes one year to make” and there is no denying the fact that she looked incredible adorning it.
Styled by the brilliant Rhea kapoor, Alia accessorised her look with a pair of golden danglers that synced with her attire in the most gorgeous way possible and the maangtika was such a phenomenal choice. The drama and dreamy quotient of the look was simply on point.
In terms of makeup, Alia always likes to ace a minimalistic glam look and she did the same this time as well. The structured eyebrows, kohl-rimmed, mascara laden eyes and the golden eyeshadow look were an equisite combination together and to have paired all that us with a nude lip shade was impeccably tasteful. She chose to leave her tresses open with soft wavy curls.
