According to reports, 29.47 lakh students have registered for the UP Board 10th exam. At the same time, 25.77 lakh students have registered for the 12th board exam.

UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla shared some important information regarding the examination centres and preparations for the 10th and 12th exams. This year UP board exam will be completed in 12 working days. UP Board High School and Intermediate examinations will end on March 9. From UP Board exam timings in 2024 to setting up the control room, many major changes have been made. More than 55 lakh students appearing for the UP Board Exam 2024 should be aware of these changes.

UP Board Exam 2024 Centers

According to reports, 29.47 lakh students have registered for the UP Board 10th exam. At the same time, 25.77 lakh students have registered for the 12th board exam. According to this, a total of 55.25 lakh candidates will take the UP Board Exam 2024. 8,265 examination centres have been created in the state for these students. As per reports, 566 government schools, 3,479 financed schools, and 4,220 non-financed schools have been made exam centres for the UP Board examination.

To stop cheating in the UP Board Exam 2024, a computerized introduction containing a QR code and serial number has been prepared for 2.75 lakh room invigilators. To prevent the swapping of copies, the QR code, serial number, and logo have also been printed. Apart from this, command and control centres have been set up in Prayagraj headquarters and all five regional offices to monitor the examination. Strong rooms with more than 6,000 examination centres have been monitored by these command control centres.

As per the reports, 1,297 sector magistrates, 430 zonal magistrates, 75 state-level observers and 416 mobile teams have been formed to inspect the examination centres. One centre administrator, a co-centre administrator and a static magistrate have been appointed at all 8,265 examination centres. The question papers for the UP Board Exam 2024 will be kept in a secured room. A special team of officers has been appointed to monitor these rooms 24 hours a day. More than 2 lakh 90 thousand CCTV cameras with voice recorders have been installed in about 1 lakh 35 thousand examination rooms and premises of all 8,265 examination centres. These will be continuously monitored through webcasting by the district and state-level control rooms.

16 districts of Uttar Prades- Mathura, Baghpat, Aligarh, Mainpuri, Etah, Hardoi, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Deoria and Gonda are sensitive. Reports suggest strict action will be taken if any question paper is circulated on WhatsApp or other social media after or before the end of the UP Board Exam 2024. This will be a punishable, cognisable and non-bailable offence under Section 4/10 of the Public Examination Act 1998.
