All eyes on Goa, Mamata’s election campaign begins today, Rahul will arrive on October 30 on a two-day tour

West Bengal Chief Minister amid bitter relations between Congress and TMC Mamata Banerjee Will start her election campaign for Goa on Thursday while Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi Will start his campaign in the state from October 30.

Relations between the Congress and the TMC have soured, even as the two parties tried to present a united front after the Mamata Banerjee-led party won the West Bengal assembly elections.

On Thursday, TMC targeted the Congress in its mouthpiece. wake up bangla. An article published in the mouthpiece talked about how the TMC could not wait to forge an alliance with the Congress as the oldest party was not interested and was active only on social media platforms like Twitter.

Rahul will be in Goa on a two-day tour and will begin with a speech at the SPM Stadium. Mamta will interact with people from different communities.

TMC has joined hands with the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) for its campaign in Goa. Both have done a lot of ground work in the last five months. Prashant Kishor of I-PAC has been camping in Goa for several days. Mamta’s nephew and MP Abhishek Banerjee is also closely monitoring the party’s work in Goa. Party insiders said the stage is set for Mamata to launch her campaign in Goa.

Mamata’s program for Goa election campaign is interesting. He is likely to visit the fishermen community at Malim Jetty to discuss their issues. He is also expected to visit the grain market and talk to vendors.

His motto is to reach “Aam Aadmi of Goa”. Mamta’s habit of connecting with people during campaigning will be taken the most.

TMC aims to drive BJP out of the state. The first person to join TMC from Goa politics, though was a veteran Congress leader. Luizinho Faleiro, a close aide of Gandhi, had joined the TMC last month.

So the fight is not just between BJP and TMC, but also between TMC and Congress.

Last month, TMC leader Derek O’Brien told News18 that the Congress could not form the government even after getting more seats in 2017.

Though Mamata has good equations with Congress President Sonia Gandhi, she has never seen Rahul face to face.

Mamta is also planning to visit Mangushi and other temples in Goa. She has also planned to go to church and will meet her party workers and interact with the media.

Instead of a huge rally, they aim to take to the streets to interact with the public on their grounds.

In Goa, 62 percent of the population is Hindu while 28 percent is Catholic. The rest are Muslims and hence, Mamata will address all communities and address their issues from her point of view, a TMC leader from Goa said.

The day former Goa CM Faleiro joined TMC, the party’s activism increased in the state. TMC’s idea is to confront the BJP in Goa through local leaders and divert the votes of Congress and AAP.
