Despite receiving such a huge honour, RRR producer DVV Danayya surprisingly skipped the Oscars. Rumors rife between DVV Danayya and Rajamouli, resulting in the producer intentionally missing the Oscars. As per a report in Glut, the RRR producer recently made an interesting revelation which further fueled the suspicion that all is not well between DVV Danayya and Rajamouli.

When asked whether DVV Danayya contacted Ram Charan or Jr NTR after the Oscars win, the producer shared that he was not “in touch” with anyone from the RRR team. “I am not really in touch with Rajamouli or Ram Charan or anyone from RRR. I am happy that one of the songs in the film produced by me got an Oscar award. Will make some more great films in the coming days.

Citing the reasons for DVV Danayya’s absence from attending the Oscars, Track Tollywood reported that the producer was not interested in spending money for the Oscars campaign. An Oscar campaign required the film team to indulge in grand marketing strategies, extensive touring and other outreach activities in which DVV Danayya had no interest in participating.

Additionally, the OTT play claims that in a television interview, when DVV Danayya was asked the reason for not attending the Oscars, the producer revealed that he prefers to stay away from the limelight.
