Former India opener Virender Sehwag also congratulated Kohli for his record IPL century and congratulated du Plessis for a wonderful season.

After the win, RCB moved up to the fourth position due to their better net run rate, though they are tied with Mumbai Indians on 14 points. However, they will have to win their next match to stay in the mix as Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants have 15 points each with one match left.
