All Royal Enfield bikes coming to India: New Bullet, Super Meteor, Himalayan 450 – Times of India

It appears like that Royal Enfield On the launch spree. The Indian two-wheeler maker is working on a range of new motorcycles across various segments to further enhance its portfolio and attract more buyers. With a host of Royal Enfield motorcycles currently in development stages or nearing launch, it can be difficult to keep a tab.
So, we’ve put together this list of all Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes in Indiato keep track –
New-Gen Bullet 350
First and foremost comes the Bullet 350. It is the only 350 cc Royal Enfield bike that still uses the company’s old platform instead of the new J-platform that underpins motorcycles like Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. Well, the Bullet 350 is expected to join the list soon.

The Bullet 350 is expected to be launched early next year, and will use the new 349 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 hp power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Other changes may include minor visual modifications like new new tail lights, turn indicators, a new seat etc.

It has been a long time since Royal Enfield has been testing the 650cc cruiser motorcycle on the Indian roads. It will be powered by the same 648 cc twin-cylinder engine as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 that generates 47 hp and 52 Nm.

On the styling front, the new 650cc cruiser is expected to take inspiration from the smaller Meteor 350, and may even be named Super meteor 650, That said, we will see a twin exhaust system, USD front forks, split seats and a tall windscreen on the upcoming motorcycle.
Himalaya 450
Royal Enfield Himalayan has been around for a long time for updates. In August this year, Eicher Motors Managing Director and CEO Siddharth Lal shared a teaser video of the new-gen version of the Himalayan on his official social media handle.

Although a launch date is yet to be announced, we expect New Himalayan Will be launched in 2023. The design will be completely new, with a new USD front fork, a redesigned tank, new headlamps, updated seats, a more modern instrument cluster, etc. The new Himalayan will likely be powered by a larger 450 cc single-cylinder engine that will make around 40 hp and 45 Nm of torque.

The Shotgun 650 is yet another Royal Enfield bike that is in the pipeline. The motorcycle has been spotted on test twice, equipped with bar-end mirrors, dual-tone alloy wheels, a fly screen and a crash guard. The Shotgun 650 will likely sit above the Interceptor and Continental GT in Royal Enfield’s portfolio.

That said, we expect it to share its underpinnings with the Super Meteor 650 including the engine as well as the suspension setup. A launch is expected only by the middle of 2023.
650cc Scrambler
Royal Enfield launched its first scrambler motorcycle in the form of the Scram 411, which is essentially a Himalayan in the guise of a scrambler. If test mules are to be believed, the manufacturer is also planning to introduce the 650cc scrambler motorcycle in India next year.

It remains to be seen whether the new scrambler will be called the Scrum 650. The prototype was seen equipped with a single-piece seat, wire-spoked wheels, single exhaust, round lights and a retro looking fuel tank. Again, the 650cc Scrambler will be mated to the existing 648cc parallel-twin motor as the aforementioned bike.
