The first batch of a skilling program launched as part of the proposed Hyderabad Pharma City to train youth from villages near the project site has ended and all 125 students have been hired by leading pharma firms.

The state government has committed to provide at least one job facility per family to those who have given land for the Pharma City project. The training is being provided at the cost of the Government and the program was executed by Telangana Academy for Skills and Knowledge in partnership with Skill Development, Life Sciences Sector, Government of India.
Hyderabad Pharma City is planned as a world-class industrial city with an emphasis on developing and producing affordable and quality drugs for the world.
