Allu Arjun is sponsoring a promising Kerala girl student to help her complete her nursing studies

Not all heroes in reel life may be heroes in real life but South Indian actor Allu Arjun has proved that he is one such person.

The ‘Pushpa’ star helps a promising Kerala girl student, who was struggling to find a way to pursue her nursing studies, assures her of sponsoring a four-year long course by meeting all expenses .

Alappuzha District Collector VR Krishna Teja informed about this noble work of Allu Arjun through his Facebook page.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, the collector detailed how the girl student, a Muslim girl, had come to meet him seeking help to continue her studies.

Though she secured 92 per cent marks in the plus two examinations, she was unable to continue her studies due to financial constraints after her father died of Covid-19 last year.

“I could see the hope and faith in his eyes. Hence, we decided to ensure all support to him as part of the We Are for Alleppey project,” said Mr. Teja.

As the girl aspires to become a nurse, the authorities approached several colleges and eventually secured admission for her in a private college in the district.

He said the next hurdle was sponsoring a person for his studies.

The officer, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, said that he approached Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun for help and he agreed to it.

The collector said, “… our favorite film actor Allu Arjun was called for the purpose and as soon as he heard the matter, he was ready to bear the full cost of studies including hostel fees for four years instead of one year. Gone,” said the collector. ,

Mr. Teja said that he himself went for the girl’s admission the other day.

“I am sure she will study well and become a nurse in future who will take care of her mother and brother and do good to the society,” he said.

The officer concluded the Facebook post by thanking Allu Arjun, the college authorities and others who supported the cause.
