American restaurant introduced the luxurious ‘Gold Standard Burger’, costing more than Rs 55,000

And even when dining at a fancy restaurant, we don’t mind spending some extra money for a burger that satisfies our cravings. However, how far are you willing to go to satisfy your burger craving? Recently, a restaurant in Philadelphia, USA has launched a cheeseburger that comes with a hefty price tag of over Rs 55,000.

According to NBCA brand new burger joint in Philadelphia, United States has launched a cheeseburger called ‘Gold Standard Burger’, which costs $700 (Rs 57,987). It lays claim to having the priciest burger in Philadelphia, if not the entire country. The new burger joint will be a facelift of a restaurant called Drury Beer Garden, which will reopen in Midtown Village with a new name and menu featuring this burger.

Sharing his excitement about launching the burger, George Siouris, who owns the establishment with his sister, Vasiliki Siouris-Balis, told NBC, “We look forward to offering our guests something amazing with our new menu concept.” , are excited to provide creative and delicious options.” His sister added, “My brother and I had a lot of fun creating this menu, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back.”

Reportedly, the burger is a Wagyu steak burger with flame-grilled lobster with aged Irish cheddar, honey, fresh black truffle and cognac. Additionally, the brioche bun will be decorated with gold leaf, and served with fries drizzled with Manuka honey.

The revamped Drury Beer Garden opens on May 19, 2023 on Sunsom Street in Midtown Village.
