Shah also praised the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar PradeshUttarakhand and Chhattisgarh, part of the former BIMARU states – are known for lack of development there.

The next meeting of the council will be held in Rishikesh where each state will have to make a 10-minute long presentation of three successful projects.

He said the regional council meetings were a clear expression of the PM’s vision about Team India, but saw a great example of cooperative federalism in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking about the work done by his government in UP in the last five years, the CM said that his first task was to create an environment of security in the state, which would enable him to restore confidence in the state and bring back development. narrow road. “In line with PM Modi’s resolve to make the country a five trillion dollar economy, we have started the process of making UP a one trillion dollar economy and we are confident that we will be successful in our enterprise. The CM also touched upon his government’s flagship scheme of ‘one district-one product’, which the Center had asked other states to emulate. He said that the scheme was based on the idea of ​​self-reliant India and the government had decided to push local products through the GeM portal. He also spoke about effective prevention of lumpy disease related to cattle, cow smuggling and drug use which are ruining the young generation.
