Industrialist Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share a post on the trekking of election officials in snow in Himachal Pradesh. This comes after the elections to the 68 seats in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly held on November 12.

A GIF shared by Mr Mahindra on Twitter shows polling officials in heavy winter clothing, carrying equipment and trekking the slopes of a mountain covered with snow. The officials were returning from Chasak Batori polling booth in Bharmour assembly constituency of Pangi area of ​​Chamba district. They walked in about 15 kilometers of snow for six hours.

Sharing the GIF, the industrialist wrote, “Election officials travel 12 kms in snow 15 kms to reach a polling station in Himachal, images like these are more than words in showcasing our democracy in action. far better!”
