The MLA said that after YCP came to power, it has provided corruption-free governance at the grassroots level. “In the past, Janmabhoomi committees exploited. Today, YSRCP is transparently implementing schemes through the ward/village secretariat system,” he said.
He said there are 1,500 volunteers in the Anantapur constituency, and 3,000 grihasarthis have been appointed (two per cluster). He said that there was only 79% turnout in the 2019 election, but after the YSRCP came to power, 83% people were provided with welfare schemes.
