Anantnag: The Jammu and Kashmir government helps the fishermen community through the PMMSY scheme. News – Times of India Videos

Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMSY) scheme, the Fisheries Department of Jammu and Kashmir is helping poor fishermen by constructing affordable houses in Anantnag. Through this scheme, a financial assistance of Rs 1.30 lakh is provided to the homeless fishermen community, out of which 90 percent is given by the Center while 10 percent is given by the J&K government for the construction of houses. The fishermen community appreciated the initiative taken by the government.
