Apple Pie Recipe: How to Make Apple Pie

First of all, preheat the oven to 220 degree Celsius. Spread the prepared pie crust evenly with the help of a rolling pin and press it gently into the pie tin. Prick the pie crust with a fork (this ensures the pie crust doesn’t puff up in the oven).

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and regular sugar. (Set some mixture aside to cover the apples). Now, peel, core and cut the apples into 1-inch pieces and put them in a bowl. Toss apples in sugar mixture until well coated.

Place prepared apples in prepared pie tin. Cover apples with large clumps of crumb mixture. Bake on middle rack for about 45-50 minutes until apples are al dente and crumbs are nicely toasted. Once done, place on a cooling rack for at least one hour. Warm it again in the oven for 10-15 minutes before serving. Apple Pie is ready!
