Andhra Pradesh: Speed ​​up investigation of pending cases: Vizianagaram SP

Vizianagaram Superintendent of Police M. Deepika on Tuesday asked the station house officers (SHOs) of the district to expedite investigation of pending cases and produce all necessary documents in the respective courts on time to ensure speedy justice to the complainants.

Speaking at a review meeting, Ms. Deepika said that the use of technology and better coordination will help the investigating officers to collect the necessary evidence to prove the guilt of the accused. He expressed displeasure over the manufacture of illicit liquor in several villages of the district and asked the officials to conduct raids to check the menace.

The SP asked the officials to create awareness about the Disha Act and encourage young women and girls to download the Disha app on their mobile phones.

In the review meeting, Additional Superintendent of Police P. Satyanarayana, N. Sridevi, Vizianagaram in-charge DSP T. Trinath and Bobbili DSP B. Mohana Rao was present.
