Andhra Pradesh: The Golden Girl

Daggolu Supraja, an electrical engineering graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, won six gold medals at the 12th convocation of the university on Saturday. Incidentally, she is the daughter of Shiva Prasad, a goldsmith from the city of Nellore.

When Ms. Supraja was in her final year of engineering, her father passed away and mother Saroja is a homemaker. Despite financial constraints, she completed her graduation in flying colors by securing the best engineering student gold medal, best outgoing girl student in all branches and best academic performance.

Not only did she top her EEE branch with a CGPA score of 9.14, but she also topped students from all departments of the university. He said that receiving gold medal and degree certificate from Governor was an exhilarating experience for him and his parents to fulfill their dream.

Currently working with TCS to support her family, Ms. Supraja aspires to be involved in an innovative electronics project. While his plans are not finalized, he is determined to do something big and make the university proud. He was the Chairman of DRDO, G. Inspired by Satheesh Reddy.
