Angad Bedi and his actress chat show host wife Neha Dhupia celebrated their son Gurik Singh’s first birthday at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The couple opted to return to Amritsar, where they were brought up, to spend happy moments with their children and Angad’s father, former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi, along with their daughter Mehr Dhupia Bedi.
Neha Dhupia shared pictures from her trip on social media. Her caption read, “Blessed… #satnamwaheguruੴ #wahegurumehrkre.”
The children accompanied Neha to Amritsar, while Angad accompanied father Bishan Singh Bedi to Amritsar. The couple chose this itinerary for any kind of theme or grand party.
Angad, who was seen in the short film ‘The List’, said in a statement, “Family comes before anything else for me. It is my son’s birthday and I wanted to make sure that he spends some time with his grandfather as well. Spend it, because the bond they share is so special.”
Both Angad and Neha’s families belong to Amritsar so they decided to celebrate their son’s first birthday there. Also Bishan Singh wanted his grandson’s first birthday celebrations to be held at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
“By the grace of God, I have everything I need. To say thank you, we are all traveling to Amritsar to express our gratitude at the Golden Temple. Birthdays have always been extremely intimate and personal to our family.” And we like them that way”, said Angad.
The actor’s last project was a streaming short film, ‘The List’, which also starred his ‘Pink’ co-star Kirti Kulhari. The movie is available to stream on Amazon Mini TV.
