Speaking about ‘The Kerala Story’ controversy, the actor told ANI, “They are the same faces who are opposing such films and they can be seen everywhere. Be it the CAA protest or the Shaheen Bagh protest or JNU protests. They were the same faces who criticized ‘The Kashmir Files’. I don’t know their motives and don’t believe in paying attention to them. In fact, they have become redundant.”
Further talking about the film, he said, “Again I would say they are the same faces. I haven’t seen the film but I am glad that people are making films which are close to reality. And those who call it a propaganda They are free to make films on the subject they feel is right. Nobody is stopping them.”
