The Netflix film, which is based on the life and times of Jhulan, one of the fastest female fast bowlers in the history of world cricket, will show how the fast bowler climbs the ladder against countless odds to fulfill her only dream – to play cricket.
Jhulan captained the Indian women’s national cricket team and is a role model for aspiring cricketers in the country. In 2018, an Indian postage stamp was issued in his honour. Jhulan holds the world record for most wickets by a woman in an international career.
