Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress made a statement, requesting fans and media portals not to publish pictures of her daughter, saying that she was not aware that the camera was on her.
He wrote, “Hello guys! We realized that our daughter’s photos were taken yesterday at the stadium and then widely shared. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that The camera was on us.”
Assuring that her stand on the matter will remain the same, she said, “Our stand on this matter and request remains the same. We would really appreciate it if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for the reasons that Which we’ve explained before. Thanks!”
Last year, the actress and her cricketer husband Virat Kohlirevealed why they wanted the paparazzi and fan clubs not to publish pictures or videos of their baby girl. In an Instagram post, the actress wrote, “We want privacy for our child and want to do our best to give her a chance to live her life independently of the media and social media. As she is older, we want to see her.” Can’t restrict movement and therefore needs your support so please exercise restraint in the matter.”
Shortly after the birth of their child in January 2021, the couple appealed to the paparazzi to refrain from taking pictures. Anushka and Virat made news when they sent a note to the paparazzi fraternity, which read, “Hello, thank you for all the love you have showered us with over the years. We are delighted to celebrate this momentous occasion with you Mother. -As a father, we have a simple request from you. We want to protect our child’s privacy and we need your help and support.”

The first glimpse of Vamika’s face went viral on social media over the weekend, when she was seen cheering for her father from the stands. While watching Virat playing on the field, the child was taken in the lap of mother Anushka.
On the personal front, both Virat and Anushka have not shared pictures of their daughter’s faces on social media. As and when pictures of the cutie were shared on the internet, her face was blurred out to respect her privacy.
