Common University Entrance Test or CUET 2022 It will be conducted for the first time this year for admission to undergraduate programs in all central universities under the Ministry of Education. CUET will act as a single-window platform for admissions, thereby making the process more efficient and student-friendly by eliminating entrance examinations for colleges of varying degrees of difficulty. Candidates will also save time, effort and money by not paying multiple entrance exam fees.
By providing “significant fairness” to the admissions process and “equal opportunities” for applicants to appear in a single national examination, this remedial process will reduce the load on students, colleges and institutions and the overall education system.

While preparing for CUET, it is important to keep the following things in mind:
Understanding of Syllabus: The exam is divided into three sections – the first is focusing on the language and the second is on the specific subject domain for which the students are seeking admission and the last is based on general ability. In addition, selecting options from each section is optional, and the selection must meet the requirements of the chosen universities.
Students are advised to choose the language and courses studied in class 12th, however, if a university allows any flexibility in this regard, it will be exercised under CUET.
Focus on developing critical thinking ability: Learning to rote won’t be of much help when a student is aiming to crack the exam. The exam is based on MCQs type questions and it changes the traditional academic paradigm by focusing more on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, broad skills and decision making ability rather than rote syllabus.
Practice Test Paper: The exam is in online mode and requires practice. It is advised to practice as many tests as possible to get familiar with the paper pattern and mode of the exam. Keep calm and be ready: This is a new exam and new for all. So don’t take much stress, focus on syllabus, stick to NCERT books and you are all set to crack the exam.
Sticking to the daily routine: Make a routine as per your convenience and devote maximum two hours a day for the entrance you are preparing for. During your board you can focus your attention on your board exams and whenever you get time in between you can change your strategy and focus more for CUET.
