As mentioned above, the service repair program is only for the 40mm Series 6 watch. no other apple watch Models are part of this program. If you have purchased the Watch Series 6 before April 2021, chances are that you will not be covered under this program. If you are facing this problem if you have 40mm Watch Series 6 then you need to visit Apple website. There you have to use the serial number checker to see if your device is eligible for this program. If so, Apple or a Apple Authorized Service Provider Will provide free service.
This worldwide Apple program does not extend to the standard warranty coverage of your Apple Watch. The program covers eligible Apple Watch Series 6 for two years following the first retail sale of the unit. Apple also noted that it may restrict or limit repairs to the country of origin or region of purchase. However, we did check and the Series 6 users in India were covered under the program.
Apple hasn’t said how long the free service repair program for the Watch Series 6 will last. In the past when Apple has run such free service repair programs they last for quite some time.
