Apple iPhone 14 series has passed the development phase – Times of India

Apple expected to launch iphone 14 series later this year. Although the tech giant has not revealed any details about its upcoming flagship smartphone series, several reports have suggested what users can expect. According to a report by 9to5Mac, Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu revealed in a note that iPhone 14 is now in the Engineering Verification Test (EVT) stage. He also admitted that the previous Shenzhen lockdown had no effect on smartphones.
For those who don’t know, engineering validation tests are done on the first prototype. The main purpose of such tests is to ensure that the design and specification of the prototype device works properly. This ensures that the design works fine with the features and that it meets the needs of the user. Apple iPhone 14 Going for EVT indicates that the tech giant has finalized the design of its 2022 flagship.
The Apple iPhone 14 series is rumored to consist of the same four smartphones as in the last two years. The rumored smartphones in the series include – Apple Iphone 14, Apple iPhone 14 Max, Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. As per additional information shared by the analyst, the Pro model of the iPhone 14 series will feature a new A16 chip that will be of a larger size than its predecessor, the A15.
Jeff Pu has also shared some details about the Apple iPhone 15 series. Pu believes that there is a high chance that Apple will add a periscope camera with 5x optical zoom to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Similar predictions for the Apple iPhone 15 series were also shared by well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo a few weeks back. The Apple iPhone 14 series is said to have a bigger camera bump because of the better camera.
