Apple rolls out watchOS 9.1 upgrade; Check out what’s new in it

New Delhi: The watchOS 9.1 update has started rolling out for Apple Watch. The latest version includes some new features, including support for downloading songs from Apple Music and some routines with longer battery life.

According to the release notes for watchOS 9.1, battery usage has been optimized for outdoor activities including jogging, walking and trekking. Along with adding new features and enhancing the ones already there, watchOS 9.1 also fixes a number of bugs and glitches, including the weather app forecasting rain forecasts not matching the iPhone’s, hourly weather complications as of PM. Instead of being labeled as AM, the strength training mode’s timing performance isn’t moving as much as it should, and VoiceOver isn’t announcing the name before reading the notification when multiple notifications are received.

Apple Watch 4 and above owners can download the watchOS 9.1 upgrade. Simply open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, select General, and then select the Software upgrade option to update your watch.
