Throughout the week, the excitement of the next weekend keeps swirling in the back of our mind. While some of us want to just hang out at home, the rest of us all want to relax by going outside and experiencing the vibrant city in its most original form. Delhi offers many options to escape rejuvenation in some form or the other. But it is difficult to find the speed that offers everything under one roof. Andaz Delhi, the apricot nestled in Aerocity, invites all of us for an immersive royal experience that lasts.
The food, the ambiance, the music, the luxuries, the entertainment – I’ve marked everything on my checklist with Apricot’s Journey.
Ambience:
As you enter, you are greeted by a large fountain that leads you to a huge two-storey dome, right in the center of which is the royal rest house with a huge bar. One look around, and I was enamored of the beautiful Persian-themed decor with traditional intricate rugs with twinkling chandeliers hanging from the walls and ceiling.
beverage:
I started the evening with apricot royal Cocktail – A gin-based drink with condiments fired. Must Try Vodka Lovers revolution, in which vodka is mixed with spices and myriad flavors of orange juice. And those who are looking for something different to make their evening interesting can try Chai Martini.
Meal:
The food menu is an amalgamation of flavors from around the world, but highlights Middle-Eastern culture through its Turkish menu. Whatever you choose to eat, don’t start without trying sushi. Phoenix Roll (Shrimp tempura infused with cucumber and avocado) is not to be missed. california our way – Another must-see is the flavor of Crabmeat Sushi with Mayonnaise, Avocado and Cucumber. rainbow crystal dumplings Give the perfect dumpling vibe with succulent chicken and complementary flavors.
From Asian cuisine, I tried for the first time Fish Smoky Green Banana Leaf WrappedWhich, honestly, was a little too soft for my palate, but it won a few points for its presentation and soft, meaty texture. Apricot Cupcakes If you are a vegetarian then it is a must eat. Even if you’re not, the crunchy, chewy texture and mix of flavors won’t let you miss the meat. i will rate them thai curry as average but with regular flavor pad thai noodles were truly extraordinary.
Entertainment:
Now when we go out on weekends, food is not the only thing on our agenda. And I’m glad I chose Apricot for that high-octane spot that turns after dinner. Air Acrobatics, Belly Dance, Fire Dancing, Sufi Melodies, Pop Music – there is so much to keep you entertained and shake a leg to the foot-tapping music.
