Actor Arjun Kapoor is gearing up for director Ajay Behl’s suspense drama thriller “The Lady Killer”, the makers announced on Monday.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shalish R Singh, the film is presented as the story of a small-town “Playboy” who falls in love with a “self-destructing beauty” and their whirlwind romance.
Behl, who has penned the film, has previously directed films like “BA Pass”, “Section 375” and the upcoming Taapsee Pannu-starrer “Blur”.
Kapoor said he was shocked when he read the script of “The Lady Killer” and described his role as the “most challenging” character he has ever played.
“I am excited to be a part of this journey with our wonderful producers Bhushan sir, Shailesh sir and of course my director Ajay Bahl sir. I can’t wait to start preparing for my role, it will be my most challenging role till date, but I am excited,” the 36-year-old actor said in a statement.
T-Series Managing Director and President Bhushan Kumar said that the team is thrilled to present this story to the audience.
“The combination of Arjun Kapoor and Ajay Behl is a sure shot hit. Arjun’s style and personality as well as Ajay’s vision in direction will give the film the right vibe that we are trying to achieve. Looking forward to a wonderful journey shooting this suspense drama with Arjun and Ajay.”
Singh described “The Lady Killer” as a “unique story” and said he can’t wait to see her vision “translated to the big screen”.
The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Karma Media & Entertainment.
