The Mumbai Police has arrested a 21-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh in a molestation case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, an official said on Saturday.

An official of Tilak Nagar police said that the police arrested Subhash Chandra Yadav from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
He said Yadav was earlier arrested in 2020 in Chembur after allegedly molesting a minor girl, and later got bail.
However, the accused appeared in the court only once and escaped, the official said.
Thereafter, the sessions court issued a non-bailable warrant against him. He was apprehended and brought to the city with the help of local police in Uttar Pradesh, they said.
