A 23-year-old man has been arrested for sexually assaulting his minor sister at his residence in Pahadisharif.
A few months back, when they were alone at their home, the man allegedly sexually assaulted the minor and threatened her not to reveal about the incident. However, the girl reportedly shared her plight with her mother when he tried to assault her again recently.
Police said the accused was booked under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and IPC sections and sent to judicial remand.
