armory Manager Mikel Arteta sacked Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Saturday Premier League Clash against Southampton after a “disciplinary breach” by a Gabon forward. Club captain Aubameyang was not there as a substitute at Emirates Stadium as French striker Alexandre Lacazette carried an armband instead. It was reported that Aubameyang received the punishment after he failed to report for a training session on Friday. In a pre-match interview on Arsenal’s Twitter account, Arteta said of Aubameyang’s absence: “Unfortunately (this) is due to a disciplinary breach. We have been very consistent, there have been no talks, and that is today.” Not included.”
Asked if it could be a longer-term ban, he said: “It is starting from today. It is not an easy situation, in which case we want to have the captain of our club in that position. “
Aubameyang is without a goal in his last six Arsenal games and has netted just seven times in all competitions in this period.
The 32-year-old played for just five minutes as a substitute for Arsenal’s 2-1 loss at Everton on Monday.
His last start came in a 3–2 loss to Manchester United on 2 December, when he was relegated in the 79th minute, even though Arsenal were chasing a draw.
This is not the first time Aubameyang has been dropped from Arteta’s team due to disciplinary problems.

After a 2–1 win over north London rivals Tottenham in March, it was revealed that Aubameyang had violated pre-match protocol by arriving late at the club’s London Colony training ground.
“He was going to start the game, we had a disciplinary issue, we’ve drawn the line, we move on,” Arteta told Sky Sports at the time.
