The Narcotics Control Bureau, which is probing the seizure of banned drugs from a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast, told a Mumbai court on October 5 that the case resembled a crime fiction novel by Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes With new twists and turns every moment. On 2 October, the NCB arrested eight people, including Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son, after raiding an alleged ‘rave party’ on board the ship. Aryan Khan and his friend Arbaaz Merchant. So far, the intelligence agency has arrested 16 people in this case. While Aryan Khan and seven others have been sent to NCB custody till 7th October, four others have been remanded till 11th. Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) Advait Sethna, before giving his arguments for the remand of the four accused, told the court that the case “has become like the novels of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes as each moment takes a new twist and turn”. Meanwhile, with Aryan in the custody of the NCB, it looks like his father Shah Rukh Khan won’t be flying to Spain anytime soon. Earlier, it was reported that SRK and Deepika Padukone were scheduled to leave for the international schedule of Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ on October 10. As for Aryan, his next bail hearing will take place on October 7. According to the reports, he is not. receiving any special treatment while in custody. Aryan Khan has been seen wearing different outfits since his arrest. However, they have not got any privileges as far as their food is concerned. It is reported that since taking food from home requires special permission from the court, which has not been done in the case of Aryan Khan, he is having food in the NCB mess. Reports also suggest that the star kid is cooperating fully with the police and answering all the questions asked by the investigation team.
