Maharashtra BRS Kisan Cell chief Manik Kadam said, “The campaign to form party committees in Maharashtra started on Monday and will continue for the next 30 days.”

He said that a two-day training program of BRS was held in Nanded last week, in which teams from every assembly seat of the state participated.

“As per the scheme launched by BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, four to five teams have been formed in each assembly segment. Each team will visit at least five villages in a day. In this way we can cover around 1500 villages in a day all over Maharashtra. Each team will constitute village level teams of nine party cells,” Kadam said.

He said that BRS will form committees of workers, farmers, minorities, scheduled castes, workers, students, women etc. in next 30 days and details will be uploaded in BRS party offices.

Kadam said the party has bought an office in Nagpur and the process is in the final stages in Aurangabad, while the process of procuring a plot for the state headquarters in Mumbai is underway.
