England head coach Chris Silverwood said on Monday that fast bowler James Anderson and… Stuart Broad He is “fit and ready” to go for the upcoming second Ashes Test. The England head coach admitted that Broad was disappointed at missing out on the first Test.
“To be honest, Stuart has been great. Obviously he was disappointed not to play but he understood it was a long series,” Silverwood said.
“Everyone will put their hand to work hard and he is ready to do so now. We had a good conversation with Stuart before making any decisions and he was 100 percent on board.

“I haven’t told anyone yet that they are playing. This Test will cause some pain in our body and we will take a decision from there,” he said.
Australia and England will face each other in the second Ashes Test from Thursday.
