Ashneer Grover’s ’10 Crore Table’ meme, featuring Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal of Shark Tank

Ashneer Grover took a dig at reports alleging that he spent Rs 10 crore on a dining table.

On Saturday night, Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal made a mini shark tank india Reunion at Ashneer Grover’s house, where his infamous “Rs 10 Crore Dining Table” stole the limelight.

The story of the dining table began when reports surfaced about the former managing director of BharatPe owning a table worth Rs 10 crore. a bloomberg Reports earlier this month said Mr. Grover told several employees that he had spent $130,000 (about Rs 1 crore) on his dining room table. In some subsequent reports, its value was stated to be Rs 10 crore.

Founder of Bharatpe denied Allegations at the time, writing: “I do not hold the Guinness World Record for the most expensive table ever made.”

Mr Grover’s on Saturday shark tank india Colleagues Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal joined him for dinner at their Delhi home, where the infamous table again became the center of attention. Mr Grover shared a meme to take a dig at the reports. He shared a series of photographs, purportedly showing Mr. Gupta and Mr. Mittal checking tables looking for diamonds.

In the post, Boat’s co-founder Aman Gupta says, “Look, this is a table of 10 crores. It should have at least two diamonds.

The three judges were then photographed examining the table. On not getting the diamond, Mr. Gupta used the Ashneer Government’s slogan – “Yeh sab dogalpan hai”.

Sharing the meme on Instagram, Mr Grover wrote: “Thank you @boatxaman and @agmittal for the fun Saturday night. He also tagged Shark Tank India in his post, which has garnered over 1 lakh ‘likes’ on Instagram. Huh.

Earlier this month, Mr Grover said he would prefer to invest money in business to create jobs rather than spend it on a table. “Is this a space rocket? Is this a time machine? No, this is a Rs 10 cr dining table,” he wrote while sharing a picture of the table on Twitter.

Mr Grover said the table “wasn’t even worth 0.5% of that.”

He tweeted, “I will invest Rs 10 crore in the business and create jobs for 1,000 people so that they can earn and have dignified food for their families on their tables.”

In February, BharatPe had sacked Mr Grover’s wife Madhuri Jain Grover over alleged financial irregularities. After this Ashneer Grover also resigned from the company.
