The pregnant woman was admitted to the hospital on August 21 after her health deteriorated.
Family members alleged that after keeping her under observation for two days, the doctor decided to go for a C-section on August 23 without any ultrasound examination, though she knew she was going to deliver a baby in early December. was about to give birth.
After making the incision, the doctor realized that the fetus was premature and sewed the cut back, leaving the fetus inside.
The woman was discharged on August 31 and the doctor had reportedly asked the family not to share the matter with anyone.
However, on returning home, the woman’s health deteriorated and her neighbors and relatives came to know about it.
Angry family members then took up the issue with the hospital authorities, prompting them to order a probe.
The woman is currently admitted in the same hospital.
Family members said that ultrasound examination of the woman on Friday showed that there was no harm to the fetus.
