Assam Education Board developing app for school students: Minister

A mobile application was being developed by the Secondary Board education For the benefit of school students in Assam, state education minister Ranoj Pegu said. He also said that the education department is exploring the digital education system keeping in mind the increasing use of technology in all walks of life.

On the occasion of the launch of two mobile phone applications by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) on Tuesday, Pegu said technology and digital means are being adopted to ensure maximum benefits for the students. He said that his department is working towards the implementation of digital education and developing necessary infrastructure for the same.

Official sources said the app will have other features, including online lessons, question banks and worksheets, which will help all students to get information beyond what is covered in the school curriculum.
