New Delhi :

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday accused the Congress of running a “disinformation campaign” over the existence of milk brand Asal in Karnataka. The accused said that he has done more than the opposition party to strengthen the Karnataka Milk Union (KWorkup) and its products sold under the brand name Nandini. BJP’s Information (IT) department chief Amit Malviya tweeted, “Amul is not entering Karnataka. Both the original and K forms are recognized on their product commercial platforms. Malviya said, “There is a reason why India does not give guarantees on the Congress. They are lying. The new propaganda campaign is that the Karnataka Milk Union, the owner of the Nandini brand, is merging with Mool.

He claimed that Mappa is the second largest milk cooperative in the country and has business in Maharashtra, Goa, regional areas, Noida and Tamil Nadu. The BJP leader said, “15 percent of Karnataka’s total sales of shocks have gone out. Nandini’s products are claimed in Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and many other countries. The confusion of Asmal and K is not merging.

He also claimed that the Gujarat Milk Marketing Federation-owned origin is not entering Karnataka and that both Bhram and K are identifying their products on ‘quick-commerce platforms’.

Malviya said, “Karnataka is a milk surplus state during the BJP regime. The farmers of the area are doing very well. Crocodile tears for brand Nandini Congress opposes limit on cow slaughter, binds slaughter of our Nandini. BJP’s plan is to make Nandini a big brand.
