Atal Innovation Mission to host Instagram Reel Challenge for school students

Atal Innovation Mission has collaborated with Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2021 for the #SHEStem Insta-Reels Challenge for students. The competition will follow the theme “Moving Fast to 2040”. As a STEM leader * How are you making the world a better place through STEM (Science. Engg. Engg. Maths) and invites students to apply for the same.

Only students in the age group of 13 to 17 years can participate till October 30, 2021. They should also be enrolled in a school in India. Each participant can make only one entry. The last date to apply and upload on Instagram Reel is 15th November.

Students will need to record an Insta-reel video to participate, with the answer to the question, ‘Fast forward to 2040. As a STEM* leader, how are you making the world a better place through STEM? ‘ They should start the video with these lines – ‘It’s 2040 and I am…’ and end the reel with three words, in the form of a text message that inspires them and guides your actions does. For example, ‘persistence, empathy, action’ or ‘living my dream’. The video should be in English or Hindi.

The insta-reel maximum should not exceed 30 seconds. Use the hashtag #SHESTTEM2021 #SwedenIndiaSambandh #SwedenIndiaforInnovation and follow and tag @swedeninindia @aimtoinnovate @contentpeople.ab when posting. Participants must also tag at least five of their friends.

Insta-reel will be judged on novelty of idea, clarity and expressiveness of idea, consistency, or climate action-angle. One winner will be selected from the 15 shortlisted reels. The winners will be announced on December 6th at SHE STEM 2021 and their insta-reels will be played. The winner will get a tablet. Other shortlisted candidates will get consolation prize.
