According to the Director Admissions, Prof IR Siddiqui, “The schedule of the dates of entrance examination is for UG and PG courses as well as LLB, LLM, courses offered by Professional Institute (IPS) of AU and B.Ed and M.Ed”.
As per the current schedule, the entrance exam will start from October 18, with admission for PG professional courses (PGAT-2) and IPS being conducted through online mode in two shifts.
On October 20, the entrance test for PGAT-II will be conducted through online mode in two shifts. On the same date, the entrance exam for UGAT, BA, LLB, MCom and LLM will be conducted in both online and offline mode. The entrance test for these courses will also be held on the next date (21 October).
The entrance test for the courses under IPS will be conducted on October 22 in online mode in two shifts. The entrance exam for IPS will be conducted in the first shift on the next day (23 October).
The entrance exam for PGAT-1 (which includes regular courses like MA and MSc) with LLB will be conducted on October 27 in two shifts. The director of admission says that this entrance test will be conducted both online and offline.
“In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the guidelines issued by the government to contain the spread of the disease, wearing of facemasks by the candidates has been made mandatory and the admit cards of the candidates shall contain all the instructions and precautions. One has to follow”, the director said.
He also said that the number of examination centers will be more, as the concept of social distancing will be strictly followed. However, the final number of exam centers will be decided only when we get the exact number of candidates.
