Audi India is all set to launch the new A8 L in the country tomorrow i.e. on 12th July. Booking for Flagship luxury sedan 10 lakhs have already started for a token amount, and can be made by visiting an Audi dealership or the company’s website. Ahead of its launch tomorrow, here is a list of everything you need to know about the new A8 L –
Audi A8 L Design
Up front, the new A8 L gets redesigned digital matrix LED headlamps over the old model, along with a new pattern for the bigger grille. The front bumper has also been given a new design. Since this is more or less a facelifted model, the rear-end design, which includes LED tail lamps connected with an LED bar that runs across the width – remains unchanged.

On the inside too, the new A8 L will get a few minimal changes. It will continue to be offered with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system as seen on the outgoing model, along with an 8.6-inch curved display placed at the bottom for climate control and seating functions. In addition, we can also add two 10.1-inch infotainment screens for the rear seat passengers.

Audi A8 L Powertrain
Like the pre-facelift version, the new Audi A8 L is likely to be powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology that churns out 340PS. The luxury sedan will get Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. No diesel engine will be offered with the A8 L.
Audi A8 L Expected Price & Competitors
The new A8 L could be priced around Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom). The list of its rivals will include Mercedes-Benz S-ClassBMW 7-Series, as well as the Lexus LS.
