German luxury car maker Audi has announced a 1.6 per cent increase in the prices of Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback with effect from May 01, 2023. The brand has also recently increased the prices of the Audi Q8 Celebration, Audi RS5 and the Audi S5 by up to 2.4 percent. Commenting on the price hike, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India said, “At Audi India, we strive to offer the best to our customers, but the increase in custom duties and input costs has forced us to revise our prices. While we have tried to absorb the impact at various levels, the current situation necessitates a price hike.
The company recently launched the Audi Q3 and Q3 Sportback in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 44.89 lakh and Rs 51.43 lakh respectively. In fact, the Audi Q3 is the latest offering from the brand on our shores. It is based on the Audi Q3 but gets a coupe-ish roofline, which gives it a bolder look. The Audi Q3 Sportback gets the S-Line exterior package for styling, which includes 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, sharp-looking LED headlamps on the nose, a gaping hexagonal grille and redesigned LED tail lamps.
The bumpers are also new compared to the Q3. Yes! The new Q3 Sportback has everything to excite people. The new Audi Q3 Sportback has five exterior color options – Turbo Blue, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black and Navarra Blue. It also offers two interior color options – Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige.
Under the hood, one gets a peppy powerplant to ensure that the person behind the wheel of the Audi Q3 Sportback is smiling at all times. A 2.0L turbo-petrol is used, making 190 hp of peak power and 320 Nm of max torque, with the famous quattro all-wheel-drive system coming as a standard affair. Thus the Q3 Sportback claims a 0-100 kmph time of 7.3 seconds.
