Adelaide (Australia): Olympic 200m breaststroke the champion Zack Stubbleti-Cook broke the world record on Thursday Australian Championship With a bang time of 2 min 05.95 sec.

“I was just trying to swim fast — I didn’t think so fast. I can’t really get it to be honest, but I’m very happy with it,” he said poolside.
“Last year I put everything in and got that result (Olympic gold), but this year there’s a lot less pressure and obviously it’s good not to have pressure and I’m just stunned.”
Stubulty-Cook competed in a power race in Tokyo last year to stun the field and win gold in a new Olympic-record time of 2 minutes 06.38 seconds over Dutch ace Arno Kaminga.

“The ultimate goal is Paris (2024 Olympics) and whatever happens in between I’m just going to enjoy my swimming,” said the Australian.
