A doctor was allegedly thrashed by auto-rickshaw drivers in Dasna town on Monday when his car collided with a moving three-wheeler.
He told that the incident happened when he was going to the clinic after dropping his ailing father home from the hospital.
After his car hit the three-wheeler, the driver called other auto-rickshaw drivers, dragged the doctor out of his vehicle and thrashed him, a police officer said.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Iraj Raja said that the doctor has suffered a serious eye injury which has affected his vision, a complaint has been lodged by the doctor.
The SP said that the police have registered an FIR against Asim, Farman, Rizwan, Mohsin and two unidentified accused after obtaining the CCTV footage and efforts are on to arrest them.
