Avatar 2 trailer will come on 6th May
Avatar: The Way of Water’s First Footage After the buzz started at a recent event, the makers of the much-awaited sci-fi sequel have announced that the film’s teaser trailer will be attached with Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero film Doctor Strange. . Multiverse of Madness, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
The sequel to Doctor Strange will be released worldwide on May 6. That is, the teaser trailer of Avatar 2 will be shared with the fans on that day. Online, it will release a week later. Both Avatar and Marvel Studios are property of Disney and it makes total sense for the makers to use the much-anticipated Doctor Strange sequel to promote Avatar 2, which will release on December 16th later this year.
Avatar 2 has been shot underwater. In addition, three more sequels are planned by visionary director James Cameron. All sequels to the Avatar universe will be released in the coming years.
The cast of Avatar 2 includes the returning cast of Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. Actors Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, David Thewlis and Vin Diesel are the new additions.
The film’s logline reads: “Jake Sully (Worthington) and Neytiri (Saldana) have created a family and are doing everything they can to be together. However, they must leave their home and explore Pandora’s realms. When an ancient threat resurrects, Jake must fight an uphill battle against the humans.”
Most of Avatar 2 takes place in and around the ocean. Special technology has been designed and developed for filming live-action sequences underwater.
