Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the IndiGo flight on the Shillong to Dibrugarh route on 26 October. Minister of State General VK Singh attended the opening ceremony. During the inauguration ceremony, Union Minister Scindia said, “In September this year, the Shillong airport saw over 5,000 passengers. We are committed to improving air connectivity in and within the Northeast region.”
