New Delhi [India]Sep 1 (ANI): Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s romantic comedy film ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ turned five on Thursday.
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a reel video on Instagram, which he captioned, “Mike drop. Biscuit Drop. #5 years of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.”
In the video, the ‘Dream Girl’ actor shared a few glimpses from the R S Prasanna directorial.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram stories to share a video celebrating the fifth anniversary of the award-winning film.
Produced by Aanand L Rai, the film was the official Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Kalyana Samayal Sadham’ and was followed by a comedy sequel ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ released in the year 2020.
The film narrated the story of Delhi youth Mudit (played by Ayushmann) and his girlfriend Sugandha (played by Bhumi), who discover their erectile dysfunction just before their wedding.
The film received positive response from the audience and critics as well.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann will next be seen in an action film titled ‘An Action Hero’ opposite Jaideep Ahlawat, which is all set to hit the theaters on December 2, 2022.
According to reports, the actor has also signed the sequel of his comedy film ‘Dream Girl’ with Ananya Panday.
On the other hand, Bhumi will next be seen in a thriller film ‘The Ladykiller’ opposite Arjun Kapoor, ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ with actors Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani and a social drama film ‘Bhide’. (ANI)
