Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that senior party leader Ch. The early hours of the day smacks of a chaotic rule in the kingdom of Ayyana Patrudu.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, Mr Naidu alleged that the state government had been arresting a TDP leader whenever he faced any dispute or adverse situation.

In order to divert public attention from Sharmila, the sister of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the assassination of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy, the government decided to arrest Mr. Ayyana Patrudu.

“MS. Sharmila in her statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has clearly mentioned who was behind the murder of Vivekananda Reddy,” said Mr. Naidu.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy should ensure that the culprits in the murder case are put behind the bars, if he was honest in doing justice, Mr. Naidu said.

Appreciating TDP president Ayyana Patrudu, he said that the former minister and his family have been in politics for the last six decades.

“They have donated hundreds of acres of land. In honor of his services to the people, a village is named Ayyannapalem. Instead of allowing two cents of land of Nala, the government imposed a case against Mr. Ayyana Patrudu for building a house,” alleged Mr. Naidu.

“Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family is known to have grabbed 650 acres of land belonging to Dalits. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s father and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had told the Assembly that his father Raja Reddy was not aware of the Acts, And the land will be returned,” recalled Mr. Naidu.

‘YSRCP is targeting Ayyana’s family’

Earlier, in a statement, Mr Naidu condemned the arrest of Mr Ayyana Patrudu and his son Rajesh, alleging that the YSRCP government has been targeting the family of the TDP leader since it came to power.

Around 10 cases were registered against Mr. Patrudu and his family members, Mr. Naidu said, and alleged that the police found fault with the CID with regard to the case registered against Mr. Patrudu’s another son Vijay. Despite leaving, his ways have not changed. ,

Shri Naidu said that never before has the police forcibly entered homes and detained people.

‘Arrested for suppressing BC’s voice’

Mr Naidu said Mr Patrudu’s arrest was only to suppress the voice of backward classes, as the TDP leader was known to question the wrongdoings of YSRCP leaders in the northern Andhra region.

Shri Naidu demanded that Shri Patrudu and Shri Rajesh be released unconditionally.
