Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Committee will start the counseling for B.Arch. From October 9 for general category students for the academic year 2022-23.
The committee released the merit list on Wednesday. Out of 2,491 applications received, 1,607 candidates were found eligible. Out of these, three handicapped candidates, 22 sportspersons and 18 ward ex-servicemen were found eligible for counseling under general category.
Under the preferential reservation of 7.5% seats for government school students, there was none in the persons with disabilities and sports categories. A government school student who has qualified under the ward of ex-servicemen for a seat under the preferential reservation quota.
A total of 1,114 have qualified the National Aptitude Test in Architecture and 70 in the Joint Engineering Examination. 423 candidates have qualified in both the exams.
TNEA officials said 38 colleges will participate in the single window counseling with 1,609 seats. Candidate B.
