Bajaj Chetak will be sold in Europe in 2024

The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will make its way to the European market in 2024 through KTM dealerships.

Stefan Pierer, Global CEO, KTM AG, says: “We will launch the Chetak in all Central European markets in 2024. It may hit the roads after March. The price point will be competitive, and it will carry products from Chinese and Taiwanese companies.

Pierer said he wanted to retain the Chetak brand as it is famous and has a rich history. “The second generation is a good product. We will use it because Chetak is a well known brand and has a famous history in India.

KTM is also working with Bajaj Auto on a 48-volt electric motorcycle, which is likely to hit the road in the coming years and make its way to the Indian market as well.
