The Chamarajanagar district administration has banned two-wheelers on MM Hills from 6 am on February 17 to 7 pm on February 21 on the occasion of Mahashivratri Jathra. This is to prevent traffic jams and jams on the roads leading to the MM Hills temple, which attracts lakhs of people during the occasion.
